Green Farm Coffees: Favourite Norfolk Restaurants!

In no particular order…

  • Tamarind Blofield – Fine Indian Dining

The Tamarind is situated in the little close-knit village of Blofield on the outskirts of Norwich.
Fitted with a luxurious dining area which is accompanied by a relaxed atmosphere.
The staff offer probably one of the warmest and friendliest serving experiences out there.
Nothing is too much trouble and you might even get to try a bit of tamarind itself!
Their menu offers a range of traditional dishes and chef specials which are exclusive to Tamarind.
We highly recommend their naans and mango chutney, and of course a coffee to finish it all off.

  • The Kitchen – St Georges Distillery

The Kitchen is a new restaurant opened in the historic St Georges Distillery.
Home to The English Whisky Co. based in East Harling.
They have produced a relaxed and open environment which is perfect for a spot of breakfast or lunch.
A simple menu with classic breakfast and lunch items to choose from like my personal favourite eggs benedict!
It fits in perfectly with their famous whisky tours. A tipple and some lunch after learning all about their whisky is a day well done.

  • The Nelson – Burnham Market

The Nelson first become a pub in 1685. Today their welcoming spot in Burnham Market offers up a fantastic menu.
They pride themselves on authentic and hearty pub food. With a selection of specials using local producers like Cromer crab and Norfolk chicken.
You can find yourself spoilt for choice.  My personal favourite is deep fried brie in crispy filo pastry, with cranberry and apple chutney. Luxurious starter!

  • The Boars – Spooner Row

Using local producers like Bullards of Norwich and Bunwell butchers The Boars offer a menu which is a little “extra”.
Not just a pretty building from the outside the cosy and relaxed atmosphere is matched by the quality of food.
I would highly recommend the land and sea platter to share.
The crayfish cocktail is sublime.
With friendly staff and coffee offerings on your table or in their coffee shop, it has lots to offer.

  • Poachers Pocket -Bacton

Family friendly pub on the beautiful surrounds of the North Norfolk coast. Overlooking sea views, and direct access to the beach.
It’s a great place to stop off after a long day adventuring with the kids or mooching around the coast with your four-legged friend.
Home cooked food on offer and a big menu to choose from with lots of pub classics. You can even bring your dog in and eat at the bar area!
We like dog-friendly places being dog lover myself.

  • Sands Restaurant – Wells-next-the-Sea

If you enjoy coastal locations then Sands is a beautiful spot.
With locally caught seafood on the menu and a smashing breakfast, there’s plenty to choose from.
Relaxed, seaside style decorations and atmosphere the friendly staff and panoramic views of the harbour are delicious!
Just like the food.

  • Netherton House & Garden – Long Stratton

Tapas nights to live music. Netherton House is buzzing with action all year long.
With selections of gourmet burgers, Spanish delights or Sunday lunches, Long Stratton holds a gem for all.
With garden parties, BBQs and live music. Netherton House has lots to offer hungry foodies in Norfolk.
